InsuranceServiceCenter is partnered with your financial institution to ensure your insurance information on your collateral is up to date and adequately covered. We provide a secure online portal to help you provide proof of insurance for your loan.
You received a notice from your financial institution because we need to verify that your collateral is adequately covered by insurance. Your loan agreement requires you to insure your collateral for the duration of the loan.
We generally need a copy of your insurance declarations outlining the insurance carrier, policy number, effective and expiration dates, deductible(s), limit of insurance, and evidence that your financial institution is listed as either the lienholder for a vehicle loan, or the lessor for a lease, or the mortgagee for a mortgage or equity loan/line, or the lender’s loss payable for a commercial loan.
We cannot accept an automobile insurance ID card as proof of insurance.
Once we receive your insurance information, we will typically update your account within two business days. This could take longer if we need to reach out to you or your insurance agent for additional information.
